Open That Bottle Night (OTBN) is happening on Saturday, 22nd February, and we’re inviting you to gather your friends and family, pop the cork (or twist the screwcap), and raise a glass to aged wines.
Started by The Wall Street Journal wine writers Dorothy J. Gaiter and John Brecher, OTBN is an annual event held on the last Saturday of February, encouraging wine lovers to finally open that cherished bottle they’ve been saving. It’s not about the perfect food pairing or the most extravagant occasion - it’s simply about enjoying a great bottle of wine.

Over time, aged Coonawarra wines, particularly Cabernet Sauvignon, develop complex aromas of blackcurrant, cigar box, earthiness, and spice, while tannins soften, creating a beautifully integrated and refined structure.
