It’s safe to say the Zema story just got a little bit more exciting.
More than nine months in the making, we are very proud to finally deliver the next chapter and provide you with the first glimpse of our new look. As the saying goes, a picture tells a thousand words so our website should do most of the talking… but there’s nothing quite like a guided tour.

Of course, our story wouldn’t be possible without the friends who have supported us along the way. There has been a lot of brainstorming around the kitchen table to work out the best way we can thank you and we’re eager to share the details of our new Wine Club with you shortly. Inspired to visit? There are plenty of special events coming up at Zema Estate. For starters, you can read about the Cellar Dweller festivities happening this July. No time for a road trip? The good news is we’ll be visiting a city near you this August as part of the annual Coonawarra Roadshow, but lock in your ticket early (it’s not every day over 100 Coonawarra wines are on show in one room).
If you want to road test our new online shop, we have just released our new vintage reds and they are looking rather smart (and just to keep you guessing, these labels will eventually become collectors...).

We know what you’re thinking…. Yes, a lot of changes. Yes, change is not necessarily a word synonymous with Zema Estate, where our family has built their legacy on striving to remain traditional in the world of wine. Yet, as we all know, some change is inevitable, often good and let's face it, a breath of fresh air.
Let us reassure you we haven’t forgotten who we are – a true and trusted Coonawarra winery, forged in Australia but based on the undeniable passions, traditions and values of our Italian heritage. Despite the changes, the long-term goal remains the same for Zema, continue being a family-owned winery that produces premium quality Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz, with a consistency that defies vintage and seasonal fluctuations.
